Windows “Vista” and “Office” retail displays

Slate Marketing, INC. played a role in the debut of Microsoft’s recently released Vista operating system and Office product line.

Working with IDL Worldwide, out of Pittsburgh, Slate Marketing coordinated the packaging and logistics for the rollout, which included creating displays and promotional products that filled 500 trailers and constituted 6,000 small-parcel shipments.

Timing was critical requiring around the clock work so that everything was ready to ship on the scheduled launch date.  When everything was done the plastic display trays that were assembled, laid end to end, would have stretched 38 miles long.  There were over 5,000 pallets used and if they had been laid out end to end would have stretched 13 miles, stacked, they would have gone more than a mile high!
