CHALLENGE #1: Reynolds American Tobacco, one of the world’s largest tobacco companies, needed to place millions of Camel Cash inserts into the cellophane pack sleeves without interrupting their high speed packing line.

SLATE'S SOLUTION: Slate developed an inline sleeving process to insert the promo pieces directly into packs on RJR’s existing production lines without slowing the process, and we developed the printed pieces to ensure error-free production.

CHALLENGE #2: Reynolds needed a high-tech label to match the new high-tech Evo crush-proof plastic pack for Winston brand.

SLATE'S SOLUTION: Slate provided precision foil printing on an adhesive backed substrate for a “metallic” look that jumped of the shelf.

CHALLENGE #3: Reynolds wanted fold-out onserts to promote their new cold SNUS smokeless tobacco tins.

SLATE'S SOLUTION: Slate designed perforated tri-fold flyers that adhered directly to their products inline during packing. Once opened, the clear backing allowed the full label to be seen.
